Welcome, Trey! We've almost got the whole gang here. Just Jimbo, Brent, and Jake are left, and I spoke with Brent yesterday who promised to join soon.
Last Tuesday was the first prayer group/meeting I had been to in months, and I gotta tell you--it was like drinking water from a fire hose. There truly is nothing like intentionally asking for prayer and being prayed over in love, and it is certainly Christ mediating the Father's love to us through Himself in each of us. Going with y'all to the throne room of our Father Jehovah is a privilege that I hope turns into an outright passion.

Your post is written straight from my heart, too. God has taught me so much from watching and listening to what He has done and is doing in each of your lives--whether in Athens, Colorado, or St. Louis. Our prayer should be to patiently learn the necessity and power of continual, fervent, desperate prayer in both times when we "feel like doing it" and when we (seemingly more often) "don't feel like doing it". I hope we learn that the motivation to pray arises out of faith in the One who hears and promises and not out of a passing feeling that comes and goes in our hearts. Does this make sense? Am I correct in my thinking?
